This two-piece Transferware Ceramic set features a pastoral pattern "Old Foley" in Blue and White. The medium sized basin features a textured, thick white rim with the transferred pattern of a countryside scene in blue on the bowl interior. The pitcher features a broad base and flared, ruffled rim with an extended spout as well as a textured handle that has a charming flower garland pattern along its length. Produced in the second half of the 20th century by James Kent, Longton, Staffordshire, England.
Pitcher Measures 7.5" high and 5.5" wide, Basin measures 12 x 10" and 2" high
Good vintage condition - minimal signs of wear including faint crazing, free of chips and cracks
