Mid-late 20th century High Quality Textured Print Art of Sailing Ship at Sea with Moody Sky. Wooden Gilt and Olive Green Painted frame is good quality, solid and heavy, with linen (beige) interior trim, hardware installed in back ready to hang. This campy artwork is made of thick paper that has a rough texture. The scene is a triple mast sailboat in motion at high sea. The boat waves an American Flag subtly painted and I think I can make out a few human figures. The frame is pretty elaborate with multiple layers of painted and textured wood and a linen border. Measures 20 1/4 inch high, 24 1/8 inches wide, and 1 3/4 inches deep (including frame).
Good vintage condition - normal vintage wear including some scuffs/nicks in the wooden frame. Please look carefully at photos.
