This 3-way Gone-with-the-wind-style hurricane lamp features hand painted Pansies with Foliage in Maroon-to-golden hues with sage green leaves against Pale Mauve/Pink tinted Milk Glass. The Milk glass base and shade both feature this pretty hand-painted floral decoration: the globe shade has fully bloomed pansies on two sides, the glass base has the same full bloomed pansies on one side and an artistically painted single pansy flower bud on the other side, very tasteful! All brass hardware. Called "3-way" because you can light just the top, just the base, or both at the same time.
Excellent vintage condition, normal wear including a few small dings to the brass fixtures, no damage, but definitely vintage worn. Works great. Takes a standard bulb in the upper chamber and inside its base takes a standard E26 screw-base with smaller bulb (e.g. A15). PLEASE NOTE! : in order to change the lightbulb in the base, you'll have to disassemble the base from its brass foot. Your purchase of this lamp will include a bulb pre-installed, but when it comes time to change that, you will have to remove the brass foot (please see photo of underside).
