These darling nostalgic pieces of ephemera are each worthy of their own listing. So much thought and creativity went into these early 1900s die-cut paper valentines. They are from a personal collection so have hand-written greetings on the backs. Each of these has some sort of dynamic moving part as detailed below. Choose from the following options: 1. "I'd jump at the chance to be your valentine" - Young child wearing a "US Navy" Cap pops out of a hat box- there is a tab in back with which you can raise and lower the child and close the box lid over her when lowered. Please note there is a significant bend in the head (mouth) of the figure. 2. "Dog on it won't you be my valentine" - Girl stands next to a dog on op of a big ball, the lever moves the dog along the top of the ball as if the dog is walk-rolling the ball. Please note the hand of the girl is tearing as the dog hits the hand as it swivels. 3. "You're some baby" - "You're the queen of my heart" - featuring a baby in circus MC tophat alongside an elephant with a girl, and a clown nearby. The heart-shaped lever swivels to make the eyes of the elephant move up and down. 4."Make up to me a little" - Girl in pink with lipstick and compact. Lever moves her arm as if applying lipstick as well as moving her eyes. 5."You're my type my valentine" - Anthropomorphic Dog-Girl sits at a typewriter wearing red high healed shoes, she holds a hear-shaped valentine which moves up and down with a lever (apron strings in back). 6."Valentine Greetings" (made in Germany) - Boy is holding a letter envelope with a heart. Lever moves the arm with letter up and down as if he's putting the envelope into a large red heart-shaped box at the same time as moving his eyes 7."Dear Valentine...I love you" - This mid-century style white cat is holding a valentine and the levers move its two legs. 8. "Valentine Greetings" (made in Germany) - Girl is holding a baby doll and large red heart. Lever moves the heart at the same time as moving her eyes Please note this is for one single valentine of your selection from the dropdown menu. Recommend purchasing multiple as shipping price is flat regardless of number purchased. Condition issues: These are nearly antiques (80 + years old!) and made of fragile paper material, so Please expect worn and possibly discolored paper. Look closely at photos. Some bends, some rusting metal parts. These are WELL-WORN. But no torn off parts, nothing broken. That's where I draw the line. Some are in better shape than others. Please look closely at photos and don't hesitate to reach out for clarification. I don't mind!
