This Blown Glass Decanter features a broad, thick 4-inch diameter base that extends beyond the otherwise cylindrical body of the bottle. The bottle tapers and flutes at the opening (top) and the remarkably substantial stopper gives it a lot of character. Indeed the stopper alone weighs more than one pound and is made of solid clear glass. The decanter is elegant and simple with a few neat features. Very good quality glass and measures nearly 13 inches tall with its plug (11 inches without). Excellent vintage condition - some signs of wear but entirely free of chips or cracks.
