This bowl is remarkable in its design, the footed base is neat, the sloping octagonal rim and the etched ladies are lovely. Condition is fair: It does have a faint, superficial but long scratch on the outside and is riddled with straw marks (lines created during glassmaking) as well as two tiny chips on rim edge (see photos of rim closeup). These are well documented here in photos. the Bowl is such an extraordinary piece with its pointed Octagonal lines and rococo etchings, one doesn't notice its flaws - it's really a neat piece.
