Antique Royal Vitreous Green White Transferware Gravy Boat with Underplate
This charming English gravy pitcher with rectangular under plate features a lovely transferware pattern of green foliage. Produced by John Maddock and Sons in the Oakland (green) pattern, this pattern was the Staffordshire producer’s most popular and was made in blue and brown as well. The pitcher is elongated and the pattern features gold trim (well worn). Condition on this piece is good with no chips or cracks, however there are some noticeable dark spots (see photos). Measures 8 inches long.
