MZ Austria was a porcelain factory in Altrolau, Austria owned by Moritz Zdekauer that operated from 1884 to 1909, making this beautiful bowl at least 115 years old! It has largely stood the test of time save for a significant chip on the outside of its rim (see photo). It stands on four dainty feet and has two loop handles, all painted in a brick red color; the interior and exterior of the bowl feature an elaborately hand-painted design of grape vines with clusters of grapes in a dark orange hue. The details in the grape leaves and even background shading in warm melon tones is stunning. These old pieces exhibit an impressive level of artistry. this is a great example.

Good vintage condition - PLEASE NOTE CHIP IN RIM (see closeup photo). This chip is conspicuous at about a quarter inch wide on the outside of the rim. Very visible, I'm not gonna lie. Aside from the chip, this item has no other flaws outside of worn paint.
