This dear little book was printed in 1884 and has many remarkable features including a deep eggplant purple velvet cover, fine brass metal trim and clasp, and an ornate mother of pearl and metal cross rendered on the front cover in a lovely floral motif. The pages are loose, but not yet falling out. It is well worn and has a hand-written dedication in the first few pages.
