Vintage Amethyst glass 8.75” serving bowl with Ornate Gilt Rim - Worn Finish (see details below). Handsome and elegant serving bowl in a muted dark plum purple glass hue. Band of decorative gold trim along rim. Gilt trim is well worn and there are large spots of discoloration to the bowl's finish at the bowl basin bottom that has the effect of iridescent stains (please look closely at photos for accurate representation of these). No chips or cracks, however. The bowl is in good, not excellent, condition. It's an elegant, rich piece that will look fantastic on a vintage table.
