This porcelain lidded tureen or sauce bowl made by LIMOGES France comprises two pieces: the lid and the bowl with attached underplate. It features Gilt handles - one atop the lid plus two on the bowl's sides, trimmed with a band of olive green with gold geometric Neo Classical patterns. The lid has an opening for a spoon. It's a full sized gravy boat at 7" diameter in total (plate), the bowl is 5" diameter. It's in excellent condition with no crazing, cracks or chips. The paint and gilding is worn on the lid in places, however, as see in the photos.
