A charming mid-century studio art pottery ash tray in a gorgeous drip glazed, leaf shaped design. Textured underneath in brown, the ashtray features a long curve of cigarette rests that bisects the leaf shape. One side is higher than the other giving the dish a slope. The drip glaze is mostly bright sunflower yellow that bleeds into mustard, brown and orange hues. It sits on three feet underneath, giving it a little lift. Those feet are all chipped (see underside photo). The piece is numbered underneath. Made in California, USA.
Condition is good: there is faint crazing throughout (see closeup photo) and the only chips are on the feet underneath. Otherwise free of chips and cracks. Measures 7.25 inches long, 6 inches wide, 2 inches high
