Mid-late 20th century Lenticular (analog Hologram 3-dimensional) Art of Sailboat at Stormy Sea with nets, deep swells, waves, a seagull prominently in the foreground, clouds. Wooden (walnut colored) frame is good quality with linen (beige) trim, hardware installed in back ready to hang. This campy artwork is made of plastic cut in a way that fools the eye with a seemingly three dimensional image that changes as you pass by with different viewpoints. It's hard to capture this in video, but it's pretty effecting in a low-tech kind of way. The scene is a triple mast sailboat weathering rough seas. The seagull in the foreground appears to be upside down...not sure if this is by design or otherwise! The whole thing is Wonderfully kitsch. Measures 16 5/8 inch high, 13 5/8 inches wide, and 1.5 inches deep (including frame).
Good vintage condition - normal vintage wear including some scuffs/nicks in the wooden frame. Please look carefully at photos.
