This deliciously over the top kitsch parlor art features an oval gild frame around a rich emerald green velvet background that sets off an elaborately assembled single large butterfly with two smaller butterflies and two small bees. The larger butterfly is comprised of a composition of baubles, rhine stones, beads, vintage jewelry, faux pearls etc. It is symmetrically designed so I assume was a home-made artwork made largely of earring faces. Comes ready to hang with a wire installed in back. It's quite a conversation piece!
Mid-sized artwork measures 22 3/4 (height) x 18 5/8 (width) x 1 inch deep.
Excellent vintage condition - normal vintage wear including some wear to the frame (mild scratches) and velvet backing (minor signs of wear). Cannot confirm if any pieces are missing. All looks to be there.
