These darling nostalgic pieces of ephemera are each worthy of their own listing. So much thought and creativity went into these early 1900s die-cut paper valentines. They are from a personal collection so have hand-written greetings on the backs. Please see notes about condition below. SOLD INDIVIDUALLY Choose from the following options:
1. "Just know one tune an' I could play it all day... I love my Valentine" - young boy and girl, boy playing banjo, all in front of huge red heart
2. "Columbus discovered America ~ true, then I came along and discovered you" - Sailing ship with flags on ocean with heart
3. "I'm hungry for your love Valentine" - Girl with chef hat holding spoon and pan stands in front of cupboard with teacups and bowl of hearts. This valentine features a die cut out stand that allows for table top free standing
4."This is no lie...be my Valentine" - Girl dressed as George Washington with ax on tree stump.
5."Be my Valentine" - Girl and boy playing tennis. Inside of card reads "The game of love is out of my line, I could learn if you'd take me for your valentine."
6."Have your fortune told be sure to select the right card." - Girl is holding a love note next to her cat. Note flips to a different note.
7."Dear Valentine, You see I found my type at last...and you'll discover I work fast" - Girl is sits at a typewriter with cherub. This card is dynamic with a cutout heart that extends as folded edge is pulled out.

Condition issues: These are nearly antiques (80 + years old!) and made of fragile paper material, so Please expect worn and possibly discolored paper. Look closely at photos. Some bends, some rusting metal parts. These are WELL-WORN. But no torn off parts, nothing broken. That's where I draw the line. Some are in better shape than others. Please look closely at photos and don't hesitate to reach out for clarification. I don't mind!
