This late 19th century antique platter is a showstopper in its detailed design in bright blues and large size (16 inches long and 11 inches wide). Made in England by W H Grindley, it's oval shaped with foliage and floral scalloped edge rim. It has a few artistically placed vines falling into the dish base. It's in good condition with an expected amount of discoloration and signs of wear and age, there is one stain spot that should be noted (please see closeup photos). Again, this item has been serving food on tables for about 140 years-- she's old but she's a beauty. Any table with this platter will be elevated in its level of elegance. a quality object.
