This vintage frame features some extraordinary details. Made of gilt wood, the swivel frame stands on a broad base with hand-carved foliage pattern arms holding an oval bevelled frame with carved floral details. The glass cover is domed glass that bulges outward in a convex shape. The photograph of a young woman is very old and touched up with paint. The photo will be included, but you can (with some care and effort) replace the photo with one of your own. Please see video for full swivel feature of this frame and note that the frame leans forward at the top bit. I'm guessing it was probably placed on a high mantel and angled downward for best viewing. 19 inches tall, 18 inch wide 4 inch deep base; Oval photograph measures 15 x 10 inches.
Good vintage condition: please note that although there is not specific damage to point out, this frame is worn and the backing is worn; please zoom in on the photos for instances of worn finish and chipped paint. Flaws on the back side might not be noted, but will be pictured in the listing photos.
